Timeline was created with one goal in mind, to save you time over your pre-existing workflow. With this in mind, we send a few automatic emails to support the basic operation of Timeline.

Automatic emails include:

  • Requests to confirm your email address, sent upon new account creation.
  • Password reset information, sent upon request to reset password.
  • New event alerts, sent upon creation of a new event within a project. This email is sent only to users associated with a project via an agency or client company. See below image for example.


Timeline also has the ability to send you or your specified user(s) certain emails to keep them updated and engaged with your projects on Timeline.

Manual (user-triggered) emails include:

  • New user invitations, sent upon request by the sender, usually a colleague or agency/client of the sender. This email can be sent to any email address known to the sender.
  • Sharing of project events, sent upon request by the sender, usually a colleague or agency/client of the sender. This email can be sent only to users associated with a project via an agency or client company. See below image for example.
